MISSING: MY MOJO
PLEASE RETURN ASAP
REWARD OFFERED

Yea unfortunately my "I-just-don't-give-a-damn" mood hasn't quite left. I've got work problems that are causing sleepless nites, and the tunnel doesn't quite seem to have a light at the end of it yet. If I don't sleep well, I don't make the best food choices - sugar is my friend. Then I get upset that I let my resolve down!!!!!!!!!!!

To add salt to the wound, my fitness is sucking at the moment. I went to my run club run last nite for the first time in aaaaages and holy crap didn't I feel it!!!!!!!!!!!!!! It was my favourite course involving lots of hills, which I used to do for fun, man I must have been insane. I really really struggled to do the 5kms, which is a piddly amount for what I'm used to! Goes to show that unfortunately if you don't run, you don't stay run-fit. Apart from the last few weeks, I've been a step/attack class nerd the last few months. Time to focus back on running though, I have big goals this year!

Can't wait till the weekend........... I've got a friend's hen's nite on Saturday nite. A Pub Crawl. Lots of Girls. On A Bus. Enough said....

Bit of a downer post, boring, but that's me!! I know I'll turn a corner soon and be back to normal, I just hate the lulls I get caught up in..............

I hope to get round to everyone's blogs this weekend! I do check in when I can, but don't always leave a message :)

Hope your mouth ulcer is feeling a bit better...

I'm just crawling out of a bit of a hole myself this week, so I can relate. I get that "I dont care" attitude happening too, and I dont like it! Not sleeping doesn't help either. I hope your stress levels drop and that your spirits lift soon - you'll be back to your sparkling self in no time.

I think your mojo did a runner with mine and they're hanging out in a bar together, drinking Margheritas.

I have a feeling mine's on its way home though....

RE: Mouth Ulcers

I have always suffered from them until I got a new GP a few years back who recommended I take a vitamin supplement ZINC + VITAMIN-C (I use Blackmores, they have one called zinc + vit-c). I take 1-2 everyday and haven't really had many since (and it's a been a few years now!).

Hey Hils - yes it is :) it's FINALLY healed up abit, only took nearly 2 weeks!

Kek - I think we should go find out Mojos in that bar, and drink cocktails with them....

Jacqueline - ta for popping in and thanks for that suggestion. I'm open to anything!!

We all have those weeks when we feel down, the main thing is to push through it as best we can. You may not have done as well as you were doing in your run, but at least you still went for one!!

Unfortunately up and down weeks are just what to expect being a woman with hormones... LOL!! You'll be back on top of the world before you know it xxx

Hi Selina... I can TOTALLY relate!!!

Work stress has been causing me sleepless nights, and working longer hours has led to me making excuses about diet and training. I am also way behind in my running fitness! 5km would be an effort for me at the moment too. And I think to myself "but it was only the other day I was running 10-12km!", and then I remember it was actually a few months ago!

I find as far as getting my "mojo" back, just jumping online and reading everyone's blogs does wonders for me! But when I am stressed/busy and not having the best week, I find I avoid them! Silly hey!

Good luck getting back on top of things!

Love Chontelle xx

Thats great news about the dress Selina. I am on the hunt for the perfect winter dress to wear with black opaques and high heels but they are all so bag like this season!
I say go shopping to fix the mojo problem. But that is my answer to everything.
Its a bit bad but I take a lot of motivation from the people I work with who are on the larger side (Read fat and unhealthy)I look at them and say to myself - I don't want to looklike that - then let them see me going running at southbank after work - a bit bad but it makes me feel good and motivated.
Have a great sunday selina,
Andrea

When my mojo goes AWOL I find I need to plan a couple of really selfish days and make it all about me, me, me. That usually does the job. Strangely, doing a really nice thing for someone else usually works into this (cos' it's about me and doing nice things makes me feel good). Doing some good stretching to inspiring music really helps too. Great blog by the way!
