SUCKER!

I got caught out (again) with strategically placed marketing. A handful of groceries to go through the express lane at the supermarket; a larger than normal line-up; all the bright colourful magazines to stare at. Good Health & Medicine had a free gift - a pair of Everlast socks and sweatband - valued at $13!! - so of course in that split second before I had my turn at the check-out, it ended up in my basket.

Last time it happened was with Women's Health mag earlier in the year. Another free pair of socks. Which I've worn a total of once. As bedsocks.

Hi again Selina! I left a comment on your last post and then five seconds later saw your new entry. Hope you got it.

Haha don't you have the mags in the checkout line...I normally end up with a copy of That's Life (although did come in handy on the recent plane trips)

Ah, you know I love ya! ;o)

With me, it's the food mags!! Then I spend ages drooling over them and sticking post-it notes in them to mark all the recipes I want to try.... then I never get around to it.

LOL.
